Martha Farrell (1959-2015) died on 13th May 2015 in a cruel act of hatred by the terrorists in in Kabul.

Beloved friend and colleague, she lived and sacrificed her life for gender equality and women empowerment. On her last assignment in Kabul, she was imparting training on gender mainstreaming for Afghan officials and NGO workers.
