Gender is an essential concept determining the degree of inclusivity in development practice. It is therefore essential to understand the different perspectives and approaches defining gender and its various aspect at both individual and institutional level.
The course on Gender and Development Planning: Strategizing Inclusivity provides both conceptual insights and critical perspectives on gender inclusive practice and approaches in order to build skills and competency for gender inclusivity in development.
The course will be useful for students, research scholars, policy makers, and development professionals seeking to develop their understanding and skills on enhancing gender inclusivity in their programmes. The course will be relevant for professionals from CSOs, CSR and donor agencies.
The course aims to transfer PRIA’s experience, learning and competencies acquired over 40 years. PRIA is a pioneer in practicing participatory methods for gender inclusive development practice and gender mainstreaming in institutions.
