Creating spaces for civil society dialogue with global governance institutions
Democratising Global Governance documents the experiences of FIM Forum for Democratic Global Governance in creating arenas and spaces for dialogue between civil society (both from the Norht and South) and supra‐regional inter‐ governmental organisations such as multilateral organisations of the UN system, the Commonwealth, the OIF, the OIC, as well as the G8, G20 and BRICS. Such organisations are powerful and global and efforts are required for sustained facilitation, scaling up and strengthening of civil society mechanisms to enable participatory democracy.
