Visit of Ms. Lalita Ramdas

We had the privilege of welcoming Ms. Lalita Ramdas to PRIA, a moment of deep reflection and appreciation for her unwavering commitment to social change. Lalita Ji has been a valued friend of PRIA since its inception and has served as a dedicated member of the Governing Board for nearly 15 years.

With her vast experience as an educator, activist, and leader, she enriched our discussions with insightful perspectives on gender equality, gender sensitisation, and the urgent need to create safe spaces for all. Her words reinforced the importance of continued efforts toward a more inclusive and just society.

To honor her invaluable contributions to PRIA, we presented her with a memento, along with a collage of cherished memories, a coffee table book commemorating PRIA India’s 40-year journey, and a scarf—a small gesture of gratitude for her dedication and impact. We are deeply grateful for her guidance and unwavering support, which continue to inspire us in our mission for participatory research and social transformation.
