Visit of Dr. Suman Sahai, Founding Director, Gene Campaign

On February 18th, we had the honor of meeting Dr. Suman Sahai, Founding Director of the Gene Campaign, and a fellow traveler of PRIA. Dr. Sahai has had a distinguished scientific career in genetics and is widely recognised for her contributions to research, policy advocacy, and environmental sustainability. She shared insights into the genesis of the Gene Campaign, the art of building a campaign, and powerful stories from farmers' protests and her fight for farmers' rights and Farm Laws. Dr. Sahai also took the time to engage with our climate change initiatives, offering valuable perspectives.
