Visit of Dr. Maartje van Eerd, Erasmus University Rotterdam

On Tuesday, 18 February 2025, PRIA hosted Dr. Maartje van Eerd, Senior Housing and Social Development Specialist and Coordinator of the Urban Housing and Land Justice Master Track at the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

During her visit, Dr. van Eerd delivered a seminar for PRIA staff, where she shared insights drawn from her extensive professional experience in housing, social development, and urban justice. In addition to her academic and coordination responsibilities at IHS, she has led and contributed to numerous international training programmes and advisory projects. Her research focuses on critical areas such as gender and development, housing rights and justice, resettlement, and the digital inclusion of marginalised communities.
