Strengthening Community-Based Medical Education – Pre-Conference Workshop

As part of the first Medical Education Conference, MedEd Conclave 2026, the SET Facility at AIIMS New Delhi will organise a two-day pre-conference workshop on “Strengthening Community-Based Medical Education” on 9–10 September 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at AIIMS New Delhi. The workshop will be conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anand Krishnan, Professor, Centre for Community Medicine, AIIMS New Delhi.

Dr. Rajesh Tandon has been invited as the Keynote Speaker for the session titled “What Can Doctors Learn from the Community?”, scheduled for 9 September 2026.

The session will explore the value of community knowledge and lived experiences in shaping medical education and practice, and will provide an opportunity to reflect on how healthcare professionals can learn from communities and strengthen community-based approaches to medical education.
