Mohuda@50 Celebrations

Our colleague, Yedukrishnan V, participated in Mohuda@50, commemorating 50 years of Gram Vikas, a pioneering organisation advancing rural development in Odisha. The event also celebrated the 75th year of Joe Madiath, the founder of Gram Vikas, whose remarkable contributions have transformed the lives of millions in Odisha and beyond.

Being part of this milestone gathering was a true honour. The experience offered a powerful reminder of the enduring legacy of Gram Vikas and the collective energy that continues to drive social transformation in rural Odisha.

Mohuda@50 extended far beyond formal conference sessions. Narratives from communities and their aspirations were at the heart of the three-day programme, showcased through a museum of experiences, exhibitions, and community visits. The convening concluded with a collaborative effort among participants to chart solutions and pathways for addressing sectoral challenges, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing meaningful, sustainable change.
