Dr. Rajesh Tandon will participate as a distinguished panellist at the launch of Saarathi – India's Collective for Climate Resilience, an initiative of the Humanitarian Aid International (HAI), on 11 August 2026 at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, New Delhi.
Conceived as a collaborative platform, Saarathi aims to bring together communities, businesses, philanthropy, government, and civil society to strengthen climate and disaster resilience through trusted partnerships and collective action. The initiative seeks to foster cross-sector collaboration to address the growing impacts of climate change and disasters on communities, infrastructure, and livelihoods.
The launch will mark the beginning of a broader dialogue on the role of diverse stakeholders in strengthening community resilience, safeguarding development gains, and creating sustainable social impact.
As part of the event, Dr. Tandon will join the Leadership Dialogue on "Financing Frontline Climate & Disaster Resilience – What Can Funders Do Differently?", contributing perspectives on collaborative financing and community-centred approaches to building climate resilience.
