Last week, the Knowledge-for-Change (K4C) Global Consortium, in collaboration with the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE), hosted a vibrant seminar that became a true celebration of community-based research and knowledge democracy.

The session began with reflections on the ethos of K4C—anchored in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) and the belief that diverse ways of knowing must inform and shape the futures we build together.

The highlight of the seminar was the inspiring testimonies of our mentors:

The dialogue deepened with audience questions, creating a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives.

To close the session, Dr. Anshuman Karol, K4C Global Coordinator, offered an overview of K4C’s ethos, hub model, and the MTP. He also highlighted the consortium’s recent move toward decentralisation, intentionally placing greater ownership in the hands of community mentors across the world.

This seminar reaffirmed K4C’s commitment to bridging local knowledge and global dialogue—ensuring that community voices remain at the centre of building more equitable futures.
