Capacity Building Workshop on Partnership Approach

Dr. Rajesh Tandon served as a distinguished facilitator for a capacity-building workshop organised by PRADAN on 24th June 2025, at ISID, New Delhi. The four-day workshop was tailored for mid-career professionals in the development sector, aiming to deepen their conceptual and practical engagement with the Partnership Approach.

The primary objectives of the workshop were to:

• Foster a shared understanding of the Partnership Approach in alignment with PRADAN’s institutional mission.
• Strengthen participants’ knowledge of the core principles, critical drivers, and key stages involved in effective partnership engagement.
• Facilitate critical reflection and analysis of existing partnership initiatives.
• Generate actionable strategies to enhance future partnership efforts.

Dr. Tandon conducted a dedicated session offering a macro-level perspective on partnerships, examining their developmental relevance, various typologies, foundational principles, and enabling conditions. Drawing on his extensive experience in participatory methodologies and collaborative development, Dr. Tandon provided valuable insights that significantly enriched the participants' capacity to cultivate more effective and principle-driven partnerships.
