PRIA has been invited by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to participate in the Asia Reminiscence Forum 2026, scheduled from 3–7 August 2026. As part of the forum, Dr. Rajesh Tandon has been invited to contribute to an expert sharing session on "Insights on Community Participatory Action Research and its Practices" on 3 August 2026.
The forum will bring together regional partners, practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and community organisations from Hong Kong SAR (China), Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, India, the People's Republic of China, and Singapore to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration on healthy ageing, cognitive health, social connectedness, and reminiscence practices.
In addition to the expert session, Dr. Tandon, Ms. Nikita Rakhyani, and Ms. Saanya Sodhi have also been invited to participate in a series of engagements, including regional partner discussions, panel discussions on healthy ageing and community participation, reminiscence facilitation training, and collaborative planning sessions.
The Asia Reminiscence Forum aims to foster regional dialogue on healthy ageing, showcase emerging evidence and practices in reminiscence-based engagement, strengthen partnerships across research, policy, and community sectors, and promote more inclusive and connected communities for older adults.
