In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape—characterised by complex social challenges and increasing demands for corporate accountability—collaboration between not-for-profit organisations and the corporate sector is no longer peripheral philanthropy but a strategic imperative. Aahvaan: NGO–CSR Conclave underscores the belief that meaningful social change emerges when diverse stakeholders work collaboratively toward shared goals.
The significance of the conclave lies in its potential to foster impactful partnerships between NGOs and corporations by leveraging their complementary strengths. While corporations contribute financial resources, managerial capabilities, and technical expertise, NGOs bring deep grassroots knowledge and sustained community engagement. By facilitating dialogue and collaboration between these actors, the conclave seeks to build synergistic partnerships that advance sustainable and inclusive development.
Dr. Rajesh Tandon was the Chief Guest at the third instalment of Aahvaan: NGO–CSR Conclave 2026 (3rd Edition), organised by Vishwa Yuvak Kendra at the VYK campus on 24 February 2026.
The conclave brought together senior corporate decision-makers, CSR professionals, implementing agencies, NGOs, and policymakers to reflect on achievements, exchange insights, and share best practices, while collectively exploring pathways to deepen impact and strengthen collaborative action.
Dr. Tandon, in his address, motivated the gathering with a powerful call: “We must make the impossible, possible.” He emphasised aligning financial capital with social capital, strengthening ground-based impact evaluation, and fostering stronger regional dialogue to accelerate inclusive and sustainable socio-economic transformation.
