2-day Workshop on Participatory Research at ISDM

A hands-on workshop on Participatory Research Tools was conducted by Dr. Kaustuv K. Bandyopadhyay, Dr. Anshuman Karol, Ms. Nikita Rakhyani, Ms. Shruti Priya, and Ms. Meghna Sandhir with the Class of 2024–25 at the Indian School of Development Management (ISDM), engaging 58 young professionals.

The workshop served as an introduction to the core principles and methodologies of participatory approaches in both research and practice. Participants explored key concepts such as community engagement, co-creation of knowledge, and participatory decision-making. They also had the opportunity to work with practical tools including Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), community mapping, and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA).
