Discussion on Youth Problems in Satyawati College
A programme on youth problems was organised by PRIA on March 5, 2008 in Satyawati college in Delhi. 55 students and 3 professors participated. The purpose of the discussion was both to address problems that youth face at an individual and societal level, and to debate on ways to resolve these problems. Discussion on youth problems included discussion on various issues like corruption, reservation, career counselling etc. Students said that reservation should be there but it should be meant for needy people. Students also complained that colleges are not clean and that there is a problem of water supply. Gender problems are very common in society, girl students remarked.
