Project Title:State wide roll out of Decentralised District Planning Process” Madhya Pradesh
The project developed training modules to develop master trainers at the state level so as to strengthen the decentralized planning process in Madhya Pradesh.

Objectives
|
- To develop four training modules to facilitate the decentralised planning process.
- To develop Master Trainers at the state level who will further train the trainers at the district level to facilitate the local level planning exercise.
- To provide hand holding support, during the district level training in 15 districts (5 district from each zone of the state i.e. Eastern, Central and Western) to ensure the quality of the training
- Process documentation of the overall process in the sample 15 districts.

Institutional capacity Development: Phased approach to capacity building processes for different cadre e.g. will be adopted. This master trainer will be drawn from the State/district departments, TSGs and CSOs.
Development of Tools/Processes/Checklists: In addition to the modular training courses for DPC, TSGs and Planning officers, PRIA will work towards development of planning tools/processes/checklist to be used by the facilitators as ready reference.
Quality assurance and quality implementation: Field monitoring support in partnership with the state institutions-training, research and academic, including Jan Abhian Parisad cadre/state core group of NGOs
Sustainability and Follow-up: In collaboration with the state planning commission, efforts will be made to include state ATI and SIRD or alternative institutions, to address issues related to sustainability.

- Modular Training: Training Modules (4 sets), for District Planning Committess, Technical Support Groups, PRI/ULBs and Civil society organisations
- Cadre of 250 master-trainers (100 CDC & CEO) and (150 District officials/facilitators) Training of Master trainers in the form of one day training – District collector and CEOs from districts and representatives from the state departments
- Quality monitoring and assessment report for 15 districts: A written report that will include the quality assessment findings from the field at the level of DPC, TSG, CSOs and PRIs/ULBs.
- Process document report. (Digital and hard copy)
