Objective

• To facilitate meaningful participation of women leaders by building their leadership skills and knowledge base on political processes
• To create new networks of women leaders and strengthen existing women’s networks for issue based interactions.
• To impart skills on building campaign strategy and contest elections

Key areas/components

The programme was implemented at four levels by the participation of various stakeholders involving implementing partners:

• Capacity Building of women at District level
• Capacity building of women at State level
• Capacity building at National level
• Ongoing support at field level for network formation.

Key outputs

About 1500 women have been trained at different levels in four states.
CB curriculum were developed
Networks of women at the districts and states were created
