Project Title: Rapid Situational Analysis for Prevention of Sexual Harassment
Worked in association with M/s Kochhar & Co. New Delhi
PRIA was invited by ILO to collaborate with them in undertaking a research study of labour departments and state women’s commissions across 12 states of India. The findings of the study (conducted with the law firm of Kocchar and Co.) have been shocking, as most labour commissioners and officers are not only ignorant of the Supreme Court Vishakha judgement but also show distinct antipathy towards such issues.
