Advanced Youth Leadership Programme:Camp-2, New Delhi, 30 April - 4 May
Enhancing and nurturing the leadership capacities of youth, the Camp-2 of PRIA’s youth leadership programme is to be held at New Delhi, 30 April-4 May.
The Advanced Youth Leadership Programme is the second leg of the Prem Chadha Memorial Youth Leadership Programme. 25 candidates, out of the 82 who attended Camp-1 on Basic Youth Leadership Programme, would be selected for Camp-2 on the basis of their performance in the Camp-1, as well as their demonstrated leadership skills in their schools. Networking with school authorities are being made for assessing the performance of the candidates. There would be 7 candidates each from Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh and 11 from Odisha. 50 per cent of the selected candidates would be girls.
The Prem Chadha Memorial Youth Leadership Programme was launched in the memory of one of the founders of PRIA, Shri. Prem Chadha. The Camp-1 of the youth leadership programme was held at Gram Vikas, Odisha, during December 2009.
